Energinet is considering carrying out a reinvestment in three existing synchronous condensers located at HVDC high voltage stations on Zealand and Funen.

The purpose of the market dialogue is to gather information about the mar-ket’s possibilities for delivery and procurement within the coming 3–5 years. The dialogue is intended to support project maturation, qualify the solution direction, and form the basis for the upcoming reinvestment decision.

Timeline for the market dialogue:

5 March 2026: Distribution of invitation

12 March 2026: applicant must indicate interest in participating in market dialogue and motivate relevance with their references on execution of simi-lar projects

16 March 2026: Energinet will select between applicants and invite with up to 5 relevant suppliers to participate in the marked dialog and publish a con-sultation response.

18 March 2026: Online meetings with prequalified suppliers (Teams), ap-prox. 30 minutes each

24–25 March 2026: Site visits

8 April 2026, 12:00: Deadline for submission of consultation response

16–17 April 2026: Dialogue meetings in Erritsø (Thursday/Friday)
